Jackie has been skinning up to the top of the mountain on the weekends with a new ski friend, and last Saturday was one of those clear, blue bird days that was completely unexpected.
Here is an insight into a bluebird Eaglecrest day:

Headed up Easy Bowl, almost to the Nest, where ski Patrol is based out of at the top of the mountain.
After skiing half the morning I caught up with my friend Bri and hiked out the ridge, where we decided it was time to enjoy a beer and bask in the sun.
There might be a tree under there. For now, just snow and rime.
