After that, Pat and I worked on cleaning up the boat and de-winterizing, and hit the water to start King Salmon fishing. The next post will show the beginning to our fishing season and the start to a super nice weather summer!
Here is a quick wrap-up of winter photos. It seems really odd for us to be posting them right now, seeing as Juneau has been on a 2 week stretch of 70 and 80 degree weather. More posts on what we have been doing with the weather to follow.

The weather cleared up even further in the day for a second tour in the afternoon with our friend Sam from CO, who had literally just flown in and came right for the airport. This was an afternoon Showboat run.

Jackie, Sarah, Torsten and Matt spent the day touring in Wedding Bowl, with the first run down Wedding Bowl proper, a skin back up afterwards and a second descent down Mt. Ben Stewart.

Sarah and I took advantage of touring after work and skiing down with head lamps. Here is a bluebird clear night. I still can't believe how amazing it is to work all day, be at the ski area in 15 minutes and hike up to the top to beautiful sunsets. The light in the center of the photo is attached to Barley's collar, so we can see him when we are skiing down.

Last week in April....snowstorm at sea level. We had to get the snowblower out to clear the parking area. We were stoked!!
Where should we go ski?!
