The weather has been great in Juneau. We have had sunshine for the last month. The signs of spring are showing with longer days and temperatures in the low 50's during the day and below freezing at night. Eaglecrest is only open for one more weekend. We have been taking advantage of the longer days to get some evening ski tours in the past few weeks. Here are a few pictures from when Peter and I went on a ski tour after working at Eaglecrest to the Dan Molar cabin.
Taking a break on top of Mt. Troy.
Skin track in the afternoon sun.
View of Table Top Mountain and the backside pf Showboat ridge (boat show) from the Top of Mt. Troy.
Look back at Eaglecrest (left) and the sun setting over Mt. Ben Stuart.
Getting ready to ski Banana Chute.... The conditions were rime ice and rock solid snow.
Getting some jump turns in Banana Chute!

Spring is offically here, we had the boat out on the water for the first time last night. More pictures soon!
You certainly look happy and in your element. Seeing that sunset over the mountaintop, it's not hard to determine why!
