Here are a few pictures from my (Pat's) recent trip up on the Mendenhall Glacier. We were looking at snow accumulation over the past winter and what remained after this cold wet summer. The original intent was to be dropped off by the helicopter at the top of the glacier (ice field) and ski down to the lower survey sights where we would then be picked up by the helicopter the following day or so.. Due to bad weather we only had one day on the glacier and did not get to ski down.
